CIBR SEMINAR: “Dynamic Brain Networks of Semantics Studied Using EEG/MEG” by prof. Olaf Hauk

  • Date Oct 11, 2019 from 02:15 PM (Europe/Helsinki / UTC300)
  • Location Ruusupuisto D101 Juho
  • Add event to calendar iCal

Olaf Hauk is a Senior Investigator Scientist at the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit, University of Cambridge, where he is Head of Methods and Head of EEG/MEG. He did his undergraduate degree in physics at the University of Münster, Germany, where he wrote his master’s thesis on the EEG/MEG inverse problem in 1996. This was followed by a PhD in the Department of Psychology at the University of Konstanz until 2000, Germany, where he combined methodological work on EEG/MEG source estimation with experimental work on language production. He then moved to the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit at the University of Cambridge, where he continues his research on EEG/MEG source estimation and neuroimaging of language and cognition.

Please, also welcome to listen Otto Loberg’s defence on combined brain responses and eyetracking. Olof Hauk acts as his opponent.
