Workshop on mobile and multi-person EEG/ANS research, part II 22.11.2021

CIBR organizes a workshop about mobile and multi-person EEG/ANS (i.e physiological signals of the body) research.
  • Date Nov 22, 2021 from 02:00 PM to 04:30 PM (Europe/Helsinki / UTC200)
  • Location Agora, Auditory 1 + Zoom

This 2-hour workshop will continue the Multi-person EEG/ANS Workshop organized in the spring 2021, but you can join even if you missed the spring meeting! This time the idea is to focus on methods, and questions about data analysis. The program includes

  • 14.00 - 14.45 Visiting Lecture by Johann Kleinbub, University of Padova: Physiological synchronization in the study of dyadic interactions
  • 14.45 - 15.45 Presentations by research groups (see below)
  • 15.45 - 16.00 Closing discussion
  • 16.00 - 16.30 Possibility to continue informal discussion on methods

We invite researchers and research groups to present their studies using EEG/ANS recordings in natural context, or in multi-person settings e.g. in the study of naturally occurring behavior, experience or interaction. 10-minute presentations are asked to focus on methods: selected approaches and measures. We also encourage all to bring up any questions or problems you have in the data analysis or methodological choices. We have asked a few researchers to be ready to answer questions - and we can all discuss together best practices and suggested analysis pipelines. The idea is to put together all the knowledge we have in this field, learn from each other and together, and strengthen especially the methods knowhow for this type of research in our university.

Please ask if you have any questions about the event.
