Lectures by Prof. Maassen and Dr. Dammers on EEG and MEG 5.5.2015

  • Prof. Ben Maassen, University of Groningen, the Netherlands will give a lecture on EEG results of children at high risk for dyslexia on 5th May at 10:00 - 11:00 in Y33 134: Brain research findings from the Dutch Dyslexia Project”. Prof. Maassen is the coordinator of the Dutch Dyslexia Program, one of the few long-term longitudinal studies on the development of reading problems where children have been followed from infancy onwards.
  • Dr. Jürgen Dammers, Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH, Germany will give two lectures on EEG and MEG methods on 5th May at 12:00 - 14:00 in Y33 134: "Novel approaches for optimal feature extraction in M/EEG data analysis" and "Are you connected? - Evaluation of different connectivity measures". Dr. Dammers is the team leader for MEG physics in the Institute for Neurosciences and Medicine Forschungszentrum Jülich.
